The reason I (should) study sociology

 I think we don't know all about of us. Even I don't know completely about me. I don't know how I will act when something unpredictable happens. Then what about other people? I can't even imagine that.

However, we live with people who we just don't know anything. Also we should work with, interaction with the others. So we must try to understand other people. The one way of that is studying Sociology I think. By studying sociology we can understand a little bit about ourselves and about other people.

Collective Intelligence is similar to. We couldn't imagine that people would make some internet page and post information about all of the world and share that information by 'FREE'. But now we can just access wikipedia and search some information about we want to know.

Summary Wikipedia is a multilingual online encyclopedia as an collaboration project. It isn't made by one people. Anyone can write and share information. It is maintained by non profit organizations. It is the largest and most popular  general reference work on the World Wide Web, and is one of the 20 most popular websites. Diverse information can be found in encyclopedia. Interesting point Wikipedia is made by group. All people in group can share their own information. Not only expert, but also anyone who have interest in topic, they can participate in make dictionary. I had a negative opinion about this in past, because this can affect on accuracy of information. But, after I realized that  this is "collaboration" project, many people can give a feedback to writers who post wrong information.
