Wikipedia is an important role not only in the Internet but also in the economy and society. It plays an innovative role in human history over a relatively small amount of time compared to scholars. Wikipedia is a community made up of many people's practices and collaboration.

 Through web edition, people could easily read major sources and papers on the Internet. Also, Because of the development of web edition and free movement, we could simply bring data and see what happened. Translating has also become possible.
 
 The author became interested in Wikipedia, which works acoording to individual efforts, and he began his research. Through one study, he saw that individuals abilities and various skills in group activities produce good results. He said that it is similar to Wikipedia. Also, he says Wikipedia is like making a book by several people.
 
2. Why Wikipedia? , What is Wikipedia?
 
 Wikipedia, which is also heavily used by governments and businesses, is increasingly affecting our lives and cultures. The way Wikipedia collects information through many people is unique worldwide.
 Wikipedia is a world-class website visited by many of the visitors and It is popular because it provides a free source and has extensive information.
 
  • What was interesting/ What did you learn
 
 I learned about Wikipedia's infulence and size by watching lectures and reading.
 In the past, I thought Wikipedia was inaccurate, and I was reluctant to use it as a source. But after learning about the advantages of collective intelligence and its worldwide popularity in lectures and readings, I realized that Wikipedia was a reliable encyclopedia. If I study and use Wikipedia's detailed usage, I think I can help my life a lot.
 
  • Discussion point or Question 

 I want to study how Wikipedia affects culture. I think it can affect culture indirectly because many people use it. So, I want to know what kind of cases there are, and the direct influence that affects culture. What are the cases and What are the direct infulunces on culture?

Summary Wikipedia is a multilingual online encyclopedia as an collaboration project. It isn't made by one people. Anyone can write and share information. It is maintained by non profit organizations. It is the largest and most popular  general reference work on the World Wide Web, and is one of the 20 most popular websites. Diverse information can be found in encyclopedia. Interesting point Wikipedia is made by group. All people in group can share their own information. Not only expert, but also anyone who have interest in topic, they can participate in make dictionary. I had a negative opinion about this in past, because this can affect on accuracy of information. But, after I realized that  this is "collaboration" project, many people can give a feedback to writers who post wrong information.
