Week 1-2 |Wikipedia:Reliable sources | Yerim Han (한예림)

1) Summary
Trusted sources must be highly reliable in three conditions: the piece of work itself, the creator of the work, and the publisher of the work. The expression 'published' can include print, broadcast, audio and video and multimedia materials. The reliability of the source varies depending on the situation, and more people need to scrutinize the content related to the main subject and use recommendations focused on the subject. Also, the oldest report is best for historical events, but the latest information is preferred in science and technology. There are two types of sauces: primary, secondary and tertiary. Wikipedia's writings should be based on trusted secondary sources (first presented elsewhere on the subject), but third-party sources such as university materials and encyclopedias can be cited. Primary sources are often difficult to use properly and should be used with caution.

2) Interesting points / New learning points
Normally, I have only considered “the piece of work it self” for the reliability of the source, but it is new that it can be determined by more various conditions, and there are also primary, secondary, and tertiary types in the source. It was interesting that the place where it is also different.

3) Discussion
What is the most important of the three conditions of a reliable source presented above? Tell me with reason.
