W2. extra credit-Is this realistic? / Kim Seon Woo
Imagine a world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge. Is this realistic?
It may be possible, but at the same time unrealistic. With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we have been able to share information without time and space restrictions.
Even if we are not in the same space, we can discuss. But there is one crucial part. After all, this environment is only possible for people with this technical foundation.
Here we need to bring the perspective of social development theory. In order for all humans to freely share knowledge, we must develop an undeveloped society. Even if it cannot be developed as a whole, developed countries must make efforts to resolve information inequality.
Then it becomes possible.
