W2. Extra credit - Why is Wikipedia less popular in South Korea than in most other developed countries?

In Korea, there are other many search engine in the network. Through those engine people can search for some information and I think those are enough to get information people want. In addition, I think Koreans prefer to have their own individual blog like properties. For example, Wikipedia is operated by many volunteers over the world. It means that the people who contribute to Wikipedia won't get any credit. Additionally, in my opinion, most people living in Korea don't even know anyone can contribute to editing in Wikipedia. I didn't even know I can edit Wikipedia as the way I want until I take this class.
