W3 Reading assignment - CAI MUBO

Summary


No one expected that Wikipedia would have today's achievements. It is one of the very top Web sites on the Internet. Through this ethnographic project. Regle opened his heart to a community. However, Wikipedia is like a community, but it is formed through practice or cooperation. This cooperation takes place in a culture or set of norms, guided by the principles of community acceptance and opposition, and defined through this struggle. This cooperation has produced a social benefit that many people around the world rely on. 


Interesting point


But I still have a question that Wikipedia can't catch up with the Small Screen. The fact that people increasingly use the Internet with a smartphone, and only a smartphone, has disrupted television, books and news, among other things, and media companies have scrambled to adjust. Wikipedia, the world’s fifth-largest website, but one with a relatively minuscule operating budget, has been especially slow to adapt to a mobile world. This is my doubt.

Summary Wikipedia is a multilingual online encyclopedia as an collaboration project. It isn't made by one people. Anyone can write and share information. It is maintained by non profit organizations. It is the largest and most popular  general reference work on the World Wide Web, and is one of the 20 most popular websites. Diverse information can be found in encyclopedia. Interesting point Wikipedia is made by group. All people in group can share their own information. Not only expert, but also anyone who have interest in topic, they can participate in make dictionary. I had a negative opinion about this in past, because this can affect on accuracy of information. But, after I realized that  this is "collaboration" project, many people can give a feedback to writers who post wrong information.
