W4 / Chapter 3 Reading 2 / Lee Hayoung
The Puzzle of Openness
The initial rule of ignoring all rules should be thought of as revealing respect for all openness and its value. This is not the basis for being able to justify all actions, and it would have been a rule to freely recognize the openness of many people based on good faith. Wikipedia is an open content community that values five factors. Public content, transparency, integrity, non-discrimination and non-intervention. The implications of all these things will complete the most favorable chapter of knowledge sharing. But in fact, places where people gather don't always go as intended. There are people who use these good traits evilly. What regulations and rules should be in place for Wikipedia to be used as good as it intended, while maintaining maximum openness?
