Creative Commons

Summary

Wikimedia Commons is a media repository created and managed by volunteers. Free encyclopedia, Wikipedia, offers a central repository for free license photos, diagrams, animations, music, voice text, video clips and all kinds of media that are useful for the most popular Wikimedia project. Anyone can put data on this site. You must have a free license to upload images. Most of the images on the Internet are copyrighted and should not be used unless there is a justifiable reason. One of the key principles of Wikimedia Commons is that the content stored here must be freely reusable anywhere in the world in the same way as the encyclopedia content (licensed with CC BY-SA). This means we restrict free content.
In addition, the process use applies only to the use of the edit context and not to the media repository. Copyright laws vary from country to country. Thus, there can be many different ways to use the process. Each country has one unique interpretation, and in many jurisdictions there is no fair use. As a result, process usage content is rarely used outside of the United States.

Discussion

Each country has different copyright laws. Korea has relatively weak copyright protection laws. However, other countries use Wikipedia more than Korea. Do you think these two things are related?
