W12. Article development / Juhee Cha

1.Summary
The quality of Wikipedia articles is evaluated. The rating of Wikipedia articles has certain rules. There are Uncreated articles, Stubs, Developing articles, Featured articles, and so on the list. Most articles in Wikipedia can be called stubs or developing artics. But it means that these are fully viable. The Featured Article is what we believe is the best article in Wikipedia. It shall include prose, accuracy, neutrality, and completeness. So what efforts should be made to develop an article into a better grade? The quality of articles can be improved by quoting research-related articles, such as writing well-founded articles, writing an outline for others, putting in appropriate images, referring to encyclopedias in different languages, and evaluating other people.

2.Interesting Point
When I looked at the activity history on the outreachdashboard, I often saw them rated for article editing. Every time I thought about editing my article that the system of grading was amazing and systematic. The Wikipedia article likewise realized that there were rules in it, and that each article had a rating. Strictly observe prose, accuracy, neutrality and completeness. It was harder than I thought to keep these rules while editing articles myself this semester. But I think we should always keep in mind for a good article.

3. Discussion
What efforts are you making to get your article to a better grade? I tried to improve my grades by finding high-quality references and keeping neutrality. They also try to increase the length of articles. Can lengthening the length of an article be seen as an effort to reach a better grade?
