Wikipedia culture & Wikipedia in culture

American society makes better use of Wikipedia than Korea. People feature individuals who use Wikipedia as reference work or positively compare intelligence with Wikipedia. Also, in some cases Wikipedia is not used as an encyclopedia at all, but instead as a character trait or game. Thus Wikipedia has become culturally important. As Wikipedia grows, it has been mentioned in various cultural fields. He used Wikipedia in various cultures such as movie critics, sociology professors, researchers, comedians, and so on.

But there were also critics of Wikipedia. Someone mentioned Wikipedia terms and ambiguity, and someone criticized Wikipedia for having false information about itself. The inaccuracies of the Wikipedia have also been culturally described. There was an argument for the negative impact of Wikipedia on culture. Wikipedia argued that the proliferation of user-generated content obscures and devalues existing high-quality information media.

More and more celebrities mention Wikipedia, and what is mentioned in various cultural fields means that Wikipedia has a huge impact on society as it grows. But so far, Wikipedia does not have much influence in Korea. Korea is more likely to use Naver or Google search than Wikipedia. I think Wikipedia is less reliable because anonymous unspecified people can write it.
