Week 12. Article development - Seungju Lee

1. Summary
Every article starts with an idea in the mind of a contributor. Anyone can create articles about anything, as long as they belong in Wikipedia. It is a good idea to search first. And if we see a red link, we can create an article.

When we start Wikipedia, it's helpful to read the guidelines and tutorials on creating new articles to get an idea of what you should consider. Such matters as the scope, format, references, and NPOV in a Wikipedia article.
If we do not have the time to write a full article, we can consider writing a "stub", which is a very short article.

Once we decide the theme of writing, we can use many kinds of search engines like google and Wikipedia newspapers.

And, start an article with a concise lead section or introduction defining the topic and mentioning the most important points.
And it is better to finish the article with a good relevant image or graphic.

2. Interesting point
Reading this article, I can learn many things about editing. Although I used to mainly use Korean articles about Wikipedia posts, it was impressive that Google and Wikipedia news could be useful. And I read the guidelines and thought that I should complete the tutorial carefully.
